During our time in ceremony together the medicine of Hapé, Cacao, Sananga will be explained along with focused intention setting and different layers of healing.
Cacao is ceremonial grade chocolate which helps us to release emotional blockages that no longer serve us and shows us the way forward if we feel stuck in our lives. As we will be drinking Cacao during the ceremony, it is advisable to have light food a few hours before you arrive. Please do not drink much caffeine in the morning. The Cacao will be made with oat milk, please let us know if you have any allergies.
If you are taking any medication such as antidepressants, heart or blood pressure tablets, pregnant or breastfeeding please let us know.
We will also be serving Hapé at the ceremony, which is a shamanic snuff. We will talk you through this in more detail on the day. However if you are an asthmatic please bring your inhaler or if you have any pulmonary disease please let us know.
If it is your first time working with Hapé, we will ask that you participate in the ceremony without the medicine to support you to initially navigate the ceremonial space.
We will also be offering Sananga, which is an eye drop to clear energies, opens the mind and third eye and helps with overall eye health. If you wear contact lenses or have fake eyelashes then this isn't suitable, again please let us know.
We are very grateful to be able to work with these plant medicines however we want to be clear that it is not obligatory for you to work with these plants. They are powerful and just by being in their presence you can begin to cultivate a relationship with them.
We would also like you to begin thinking about your intentions. This can change throughout the week and we will help you on the day if anyone is finding this challenging. Setting an intention is a commitment to what you want your experience to be about. When you are intentional about something, your focus is in the moment, who you are, what you do and why you do it? It is different from a goal or expectation.
What to bring: You will need to bring yoga mats and also bring pillows and blankets and anything else you might need to support your back, as we will be sitting/lying on the floor for a while. If you are travelling by train let us know and we will bring extra blankets and pillows.
Please bring a big bottle of water.
You are welcome to bring a notepad and pen for you to jot down anything that comes up for you and can support you with your integration process after the ceremony.
If you have any sacred items such as crystals, stones etc, please do bring these on the day to place at the altar.
Finally, the Core Sentience Marketplace. Creativity is really important to us, and is an essential component to healing, we love to support our communities creativity, and if you have any items etc. that are hand made such as jewellery, or arts and crafts which can be sold on the day, please do bring them along. Please label your items with prices and participants will be able to purchase these through PayPal or with cash.
