Embodying the divine feminine

‘Woman, you are fire. You are water. You are air. You are earth. You are ether. You are a daughter of the earth & stars and an embodiment of the feminine divine’s sacred mystery’.

We are all very familiar with the expression ‘The body keeps the score’ and know that this means that the body experiences everything and stores our unprocessed trauma. The body is our subconscious and often it is the very thing that we become so detached from when we have experienced trauma. This detachment has been essential for our survival but we must reconnect in order to fully heal and grow. We must become embodied.

Being ‘in our bodies’ is our natural state, it's how we were fundamentally designed to operate. Over the years we’ve been conditioned to only use the power of the mind system and often neglect the most powerful tool for wisdom, our bodies.

So what does it mean to be embodied?

Being embodied is referring to a state of union between body and consciousness. This allows our consciousness to be able to express itself freely through our bodies, and allows our bodies to communicate subtle sensory information to our consciousness.

Our bodies contain a wealth of information, intelligence as well as keys to healing and fulfillment. They can tell us about our wants, needs and desires, allowing us to experience pleasure and connection.
